VA Payments 03 and Blog Earnings 01 (USD 2500++)

I’m back, with a vengeance! Nah, just kidding, lol, I just wasn’t able to post on this blog for a few weeks now and I hope I still have readers *crossing fingers*. So I’m back and I hope you’ll be inspired with what I’m about to say.

Well, it’s all about making money online and how you can do it too. I’ve posted a lot of inspirational tips on how you can do it either by blogging or as a Virtual Assistant. With blogging, it’s kinda easier than being a VA. You just have to create a blog, post valuable and informative contents, do some SEO to get the rankings and stats, just to name a few and you’re all set to go. But of course, you can’t just settle for that. You need to continuously improved your blog by doing the very basics or level up. Then, wait for the advertisers or sign-up to different legit paid to blog sites.Β  As a Virtual Assistant, you need to know what makes a great VA to be able to catch a high paying project or job. It’s not easy, I’m telling you, because to earn big, you really need to work long hours and be knowledgeable about what you do. This isn’t just like blogging or posting free form articles or ghostwriting, this is way bigger than what you think. Clients won’t hire you if you don’t know what you’re talking about. Some will train you, but, if they want to pay higher salaries, then it means you need to be highly skilled.

I’m not that great, you know. Before I became a VA, I went through a lot of tests, trials and errors and yet, earned lower than what I had expected. I thought I knew the basics and boy, I was stunned when I read about what those highly paid VAs in other countries do. It was way more complicated, so, I told myself, I had to learn those things and the tricks. I can’t just be contented with what I earn, I need more!

It was over a year ago in August, when I started as a low profile Virtual Assistant. Heck, I didn’t even know I was doing VA tasks! It was a local company who offered me part-time odd jobs (I thought it was odd at that time, lol) and without batting an eyelash, I accepted. Mind you, that at that time, I had no idea about the projects, but, they trained me online. Little did I know, it was a start of something big for me.

A year later and here I am. An “established Virtual Assistant”, but I know, I still have a lot to learn, though, I’m earning way bigger than last year. So, yay! Happy Anniversary to me!

In line with my 1st anniversary as a VA, I’m posting my earnings from July 1, 2011 to August 31, 2011. I know there are other well established VAs out there who earn a lot bigger than this. But, I’m just so happy because I’m helping my husband with the bills and sending the kids to good schools. You can do it too, you know. Arm yourselves with proper knowledge and skills, and I bet, you’d be back here with bigger stories than mine! πŸ™‚

  1. Pag handa na akong mag WAHM, eh magseseminar ako kay Mr. Jomar at sa aking kumare ang pangalan daw eh Eihdra…Kilala mo ba yun sis heheheh….

  2. It’s been two months since I completed my profile at odesk and passed many tests. Problem now is the tasks or projects in my profession, CAD and architecture seems to be so daunting and I’m losing the courage to apply for fear of being rejected or worse get a project and then fail to fulfill it. Can I outsource some projects to my colleagues in case of fixed price projects?

  3. So you proved that it can be done, you’ve turned out to be a heck of a virtual assistant with a pretty good income, i might add. I want to congratulate you and to wish you even greater successes.

  4. Grabe mommy eihdra dami mo earnings .. Before gusto maging VA eh pero parang wala luck kaya ni try ko ang blogging .. Eto kahit papano my pumapasok na income pero wala pa sa 1/4 na kinikita mo kahit pa ata 1/8.. Hahah! Congrats!

  5. It’s truly inspirational to everyone who wants to earn. Like Nicquee, nahirapan ako ngayon to do the tasks online. Kaya pa-isa isa na lang whenever I have a free time. Miracle kung mahaba ang sleeping hours ni baby kasi usually 30mins siya natutulog… huhuhu..

  6. Truly inspiring! Pa Starbucks ka sa GEB ha! πŸ˜€

Seriously speaking, gusto ko rin mag VA pero hindi pa ako maka full-time work because of my two bulilits. How old are your kids? Nahihirapan kasi ako sa gabi.

    1. Hi sis Nicquee! Hehehhe, cake na lang daw πŸ™‚ I have 4 and 12. I can’t work straight during daytime coz of mommy duties but 9PM onwards free na. It’s all about managing time na lang siguro and scheduling tasks which can be done lightly during daytime. Thanks sis πŸ™‚
