Finally Got My Page Rank ! From 0 To PR2 !

This blog has been running since July 2009. I started under Blogger’s  subdomain. Changed layouts many times.  I bought my domain just last January and also changed the title from “Online Business That Pays” to what you see now. Migrated to WordPress just a week ago hoping this would be the best blogging platform of all.

For a month now, I have been reading about how to increase page rank and drive more traffic to my site. Sometimes, it drives me crazy with all the techie terms that was hard to understand but then I found sites which  can simply explain things to newbies like me. I still consider myself a newbie because I feel that I have so much to learn.

After reading many blog posts about Google’s next PR release, I wondered if this time I will get my wish of just a PR1.

I have installed SEO Quake last month. Yeah, i do admit that I want to always see how I am doing when it comes to stats.. I feel that I can improve my site’s performance if I know what I am doing wrong or if I am on the right track.

So, my wish finally came true. Not only that, instead of  a PR1, Google gave me a PR2! I don’t mind saying that I really shouted for Joy and hugged and kissed the whole family! The baby cried maybe he thought I was going crazy..lol..

I am a stay at home mom and haven’t worked for 10 years now, office work, I mean. Last work I had, I was a manager of a crewing company. What I am saying here is, I kinda lost all hopes and confidence that I still can do something that would make me be proud of myself again..I am not boasting or something but this is rather important for me.

This, for me, is an achievement for all the hard work I have done, for all the missed meals and afternoon siestas just to be able to post or fix the layout or read other people’s blogs. For staying up late, til wee hours in the morning to make this site work.. I have other more important things to do and I am running a household, so I work during my spare time or when they are all asleep at night.

Well, I’m babbling now,lol..So, in closing… This is a start of something new for me. I know I would have to work harder and that means more missed time for myself. But, I am enjoying what I do, and that matters most.
